Testing #Sony FR7 #AI Auto Framing – Just by Upgrading to the Latest Firmware V4.00 This technology, known as AI PTZ Auto Framing, uses deep learning to detect human faces, allowing smooth and natural tracking. I should add that with this firmware, the FR7 can send #PTZ tracking data and Lens Metadata to #UnrealEngine via the #FreeD / #OpenTrackIO protocol. In this test, three Sony #FR7 cameras are controlled over IP using their default HTML web interface. I selected my face as the tracking target in all three cameras and then tried to challenge the system by moving quickly, rotating, and occasionally hiding my face to see how precise the auto-framing feature is.
